I know there are a lot of folks who don’t like road cyclists on this site. But the only connection is that I just happened to be riding when this happened.

We live in a rural area. Caney lake is surrounded by rural roads and highways. So, here I am riding up a hill, with a steep curve approaching. This road has lots of curves, just waiting for a car to pop out around a curve. Remember this.

As I round this curve, I see a deer hunter standing next to his truck, in the road’s right-away, facing away from me.

I though he was talking on his cell

NO, he was pointing his deer rifle down the highway

There is a blind curve less than 250 yards past the curve he was on and his rifle was pointing at that spot.

What he thought he was doing, or thinking, GOD only knows.

Obviously he was not pointing at me, but expecting or doing what.
