Love thy neighbor and don't leave him standing alone on his porch.

This scares the crap out of me....no due process.

At first it will take the low hanging fruit.....actual lunatics....than once normalized it will claim political opposition.

Starting to feel that when the Commies come out on stage to announce their new Politburo, Trump will be wearing a Mao suit right up there with them and they will be saying "We couldn't have done it without you"

It’s old hat

Just like apple (as well as Bing, OneDrive, Gmail, Twitter, Facebook, Adobe Systems, Reddit,Discord and the NCMEC) scanning your personal photos for “child porn”.

Who could argue that? I mean that’s like scary, if you arnt into having your personal shit scanned and possibly reported to the state, you sound like you’re for child porn 😬

Once folks are accustomed to this pervasive joint corporate/state surveillance, well now we slowly move those goal posts, photos of guns? Photos of “extremist views” photos of the wrong memes, etc etc.

Same shit as the “patriot act” and how it was sold as fighting “terrorists” when it’s probably been used against mainstreet more than anything else.

Or how the state can shut down all commerce, lock you in your house, even get you to strap a muzzle compliance symbol on your own damn face, for what amounts to a bad flu with good marketing.

Whenever the sales pitch starts with selling fear or a threat, my knee jerk reaction is fuuuuucccccckkkkk youuuuuuu!

Ever assuming the Digital world was private is where I think many have created unrealistic expectations of Privacy. Then expect the Government to shield them from that...

Remember as I have stated multiple times, Those same media new outlets pushing the narrative are owned by the same conglomerates that own the communication networks, phones, internet and what not. The politicians are their product.

Remember back in 2006 AT&T allowed the NAS to hack into their system. You are willing using their product, if you want privacy, don't use their product. Because on it you have no privacy.

I’d said most. Lawn crews don’t qualify as most. The average joe blow can mow his whole lawn, edge, trim, and blow off the driveway in a battery or 2.

Zero turn doing 3.5 acres?

gas power isn’t going away, my engine drive Welder is a long way from being replaced by batteries, but for joe homeowner, small engines are going away.

Maybe in the ghetto. I'd like for you to bring the BEST battery powered equipment and mow my lawn, trim around my property and blow the grass off the hard surfaces with "2" batteries.

Maybe with 2 dozen batteries.....

I would just be skeptical going into small engine repair in a dying field. Fixing mowers, trimmers, and chainsaws with small engines is going to start dying quick. I got rid of my gas weed eater, edger, and blower years ago. Electric blows them away now. There is nothing that a gas machine does better for ME than these new electric ones.

there is still a need for small engine repair but it’s dying fast and you better be in a niche that gas isn’t getting replaced

We're not seeing that in my area. My guy is seriously 4-6 months out. He usually takes your equipment and puts it in his shop or warehouse. He telling people not to even think about bringing any equipment to him.

Not sure where I was unclear. For most battery power is better, Suburbia lots, etc. small gas engines are not going away but the market is definitely decreasing and fast. If you have 100 acres a battery isnt going to work. Stop being dense.

mid you have an acre lot or smaller that gets mowed you can do everything on a couple batteries. This encompasses most.

You know what I’d do if I brought my mower to place that said 4-6 months and I was incapable of fixing myself? Go buy a new electric one and quit fucking with these gas mowers/blowers/trimmers, that shit the bed every year.

Gas mower has been a tank for the last four years. The gas trimmers do take a shit frequently. I bought an echo electric trimmer. It's been good thus far but the battery only lasts 25min which sucks.

att also won the first net contract, best bet is minimize your profile, no logs VPNs for everything, keeping your hosting outside of the US and encrypted, not using google services or social media etc

It’s like armor, sure you could still get shot in the dick or face, but better to protect yourself as best as you can.

I’m not getting rid of all my gas stuff anytime soon. Still have a JD x350 that’s 4 yrs old that has given me zero problems.

I have yet to use a gas weed eater that didn’t suck dick. Used my neighbors gas stihl pole saw last month that wouldn’t run worth a shit either. Small stuff like that, give me a battery any day. My Milwaukee stuff has really good run times with the larger 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, and 12.0 batteries

The only thing I could find wrong was the gaskets wouldn't seat properly anymore. I'm guessing the ethanol is probably causing them to warp.

Just like all those crazies eating horse food, I saw carrots at the super market lol

What a bunch of nuts eating horse food and saying it’s good for them.

Or drinking water, that’s the same stuff that’s in toilets!

why do they pluck their eyebrows to nothing? ugry!

My son lives in a small 3 bedroom cottage type house on a small lot. It takes him 2 batteries to just mow the lawn and a little bit of trimming. He either has to come back later in the day or the next day to finish trimming. I can't see these batteries taking over the gas equipment industry any time soon.

Then you have to think about mobile service vehicles. No way they go to batteries any time soon or never.

You guys need to remember when the SHTF the sound of a running generator will put a bullseye on yours and anyone else’s back that lives in your house, some people in New Orleans learned that right after Katrina.

Nah, they won't hear it over the 50 bmg practice sessions going on in my backyard.

Sprite is clear like water, doesn't that count for something???

Battery/solar powered lights wouldn’t do the same?

I got a quote for solar big enough to run my home and outbuilding. The price was $46,000 without batteries. That's almost 10% of the value of my house without the batteries. Didn't make financial sense to us to have them installed.

YES It’s a major problem to use ethanol fuel in anything that does not get operated at least a couple of times a week. That shit destroys fuel systems in small engines, cars, motorcycle, boats etc. Just use ethanol free fuel and your equipment will thank you.

My Stihl equipment now only gets raw gas.

I even splurge for the Stihl product which is the most expensive gas I ever paid for. If my car gas is up 33% since Biden I think Im in for a fucken next time I buy saw/trimmer gas.

For the 20 plus year old Craftsman 7 HP lawnmower at the end of the year it gets a tank of Tru Gas.

As a homeowner, I think that's the best plan of attack.
On the nursery we go thru mucho gallons of premix. I use Stihl 2 cycle oil and 91 octane gasoline, to save over buying premix, and never any problems.
We use the equipment too much consistently through the year where as I don't worry about ethenol free gas.

If I were a home owner w an acre or less, I would, when you need to replace gear, I would try electric.
Which one do you buy?
Batterys are a thought.
For a mower, the self propelled drive line. A weedeater, the ease and economical discharge of the trimmer line.
You know what I'm saying.

I'm 68 yo. Been around horses most of my life, never had to do this foolishness.
Big difference between backyard horses and high performance breeds, my farrier buddy got thrown across the stall by a warmblood stallion that needed a shoe tacked on, no sleepy time, x days before a competetion. I grew up around racetracks same rules applied.

The difference is, horses trained by someone that knows how and horses trained by someone that doesn't know how. I have 6 horses 100 yards from the house, I suppose you could consider that my backyard. They are rope horses with little pepe and doc bar breeding.

We installed a powerbank for the solar panels when we built the house.
Can run it off our Honda diesel inverter as well.
Eventually when we get an ev, we'll wire up the charger for that

Biggest factor with the small engines. Use ethanol free and don't let it get too old.
