It should never need to be used but I always tap it when releasing the charging handle and under no threat but in the heat of the moment I'm training for muscle memory a more direct immediate action and ejecting that round for new.
I used an issue M&P in a rainy sandy class with lots of rolling in the sand shit.
Because of the conditions I was defaulting to closing the ejection port cover religiously.
The only malfunctions I had were related to me getting a finger in the way of the port door opening and causing the ejected round to not clear and foul the feed of the next round.
The gun ran surprisingly fantastic for its price.
But that is the goal. Get jabbed to protect said retard status and avoid having to take responsibility or think critically. Think about it, the "vax" doesn't protect anyone from illness, it only protects them from having to think.
