MnP10 Sport with Pulsar N550. It’s what I could afford on short notice. 150 gr Federal Fusion. One and done. Me on the right with a .556 gun at the time. 62 gr Federal Fusion. The little piggy on the left is mine. Spine shot anchored it then all 3 of us got at least one more hit on it. No more than 40 yards. Spotted with thermal at about 600 yards. Stalked on foot the rest of the way in. 0200. Bay City, Texas. 03/02/2019.

I REALLY want a SBR in 6mm ARC, hope someone builds one first and lets me know how it performs before I give it a shot.

For the daytime piggies if I ever make it down to Texas 🙃 proof 16.5” 308 barrel and will be slangin 175’s at 2500fps. TBAC ultra 9 to keep things civil. Hoping after I get my house built, I’ll be able to start saving my pennies to buy a good something to run in front of my ZCO

6.8 SBR thats been doing some hog killing for a long time. Its had about 8 different scopes on it over the years but really happy with the hogster for where I'm hunting.

Gun is only 10lb, 2 ounces as shown, which is not bad at all IMO considering its capabilities in this form. Its put down a LOT of pigs and a handful of deer.

What rifle scope is that... a vortex?

Burdy, your rigs always impress! If we were 10 years old, you'd be my friend who always got the cool stuff for Christmas and Birthdays :ROFLMAO:

PS - are you part of "Two Vets Sporting Goods"? I looked up that tripod and it's not supposed to be released until next month??? Sweet looking carbon wrap on there!

What is that? 375 H&H?
458 Winchester Magnum. It is the biggest bullet I could find to put in a Mauser when I got the action and apparently it's the smallest elephant hunting cartridge.

I want to build a double rifle in 375H&H, but I don't have the skill set for that yet.

Nice, and here I was thinking of going on a pig hunt with my lowly 300BLK ;)

Thought about this a little more, I think you're a few thousand years too late, I'm thinking the kind of pigs you're hunting are the Entelodont/Daeodon variety :ROFLMAO:

I'm with Romeo458 above. No NV just iron sights. I don't hog hunt often but if I do the goto rifle is a Marlin 1895 in 45-70 caliber. It was made for me out of a new in box rifle by Doug Turnbull, of Turnbull Restorations. It's basically semi custom. with a lot of touches that make it unique. I also carry a sidearm when after hogs. Down here in FL It's all thick palmetto scrub and you can easily get surprised at short range.

The Rifle:

The Sidearm - the only handgun I own that hurts my hand when I shoot it with them Grizzly loads 😫:

Yeah, its the 1.5-8x32 Razor Light Hunter. Its a 1" tube scope but giving the .300 blk limited range, 30mm in not a requirement, plus I wanted it because it weighs 13 ounces and the G4 BDC reticle is excellent in low light but still has a fine center dot which I prefer.

Ha, thanks WJM. No I am not a part of Two Vets. I have spoken to Dan on the phone and placed my order directly through him but thats it. Super nice guy and I will absolutely be picking up a No Name Jr to go along with this QDT and probably a 44mm ballhead to try out.

I don't have property or any place to hunt at the moment but this would be my predator control rig.

So I looked up Skeet IRX, holy cow, that's as much as I spent on my truck. That should be in the motivation thread. Motivate me to play the lottery!

OMG I hate all of you. If I had hogs in my area I WOULD NOT SLEEP. :)
