good luck guys. it was ugly here. i hope it has at least died down some before it gets there. they reported 140 lightning strikes in 20 mins here and that was a low numbered compared to other times during the day.

My son has a rock climbing gym in Birmingham. A colleague of his who owns a gym in Tuscaloosa just called. They lost the entire gym, building and contents. They had just arrived in FL for vacation, so there has been some frantic calling back and forth to locate the kids at home. One was out of touch for some hours, but is OK. No one hurt at the gym as far as I know.

The worst has passed us by in Memphis, now just flooding to deal with and the big muddy is going to keep rising over the next few days. Still trying to check up on all my friends in Alabama, seems like bama got nailed the worst with all the tornados. I've never seen rain (or weather in general) like we've had the last 48 hours.

Power to be out for most all North Alabama for 4-5 days, do to trans line being cut an turbine trip at/from Browns Ferry Nuke plant.
Things my place, good. House full of folks as we have plenty of Backup power, and backups to that as well.

Many dead in state, many, many homes destroyed, or completely gone. Property damage is rich, roads blocked.

We have plenty of fuel for everything, chain saws, winches, tractors, backhoes ect, all already working hard.

Praying for the safety of all.
Alabama is a Nabor state, and we will take care of our self's and all those within or borders,... no matter what it takes.
