So looks like I have settled on a Terminus Zeus full tenon. Since I’m new to the whole world. I’m looking at prefits. I’ll bet getting a 223 Wylde and 6.5. Anyone in particular want to look at?

Looks like TS and Preferred have been popular.

I learned a lot from the last post I did so figured I would cast my net.

Southern Precision ( Bugholes.com). Great to deal with calll them tell them what bullets you plan to use and they can get you a chamber that you will love.

-1 for southern precision- he messed up my chamber and couldn’t have been more difficult to work with to fix his mistake.

@bohem Josh at Patriot Valley Arms does great work. I have about 5 or 6 prefit barrels from him now and they all shoot great. His Osprey barrels are excellent. They are accurate and clean up easily. Definitely check out his prefits.

I have experience with Proof, Patriot Valley, and Fischer T&C, and Altus for prefits. All have been great!

Just be aware that some manufacturers only offer prefits in the QC version of the Zeus. I have the full thread, but would get the QC if I were to do it again.

Eric Anderson @ Blue Mountain Precision built my last Solus prefit on a Proof CF Blank. His work is outstanding. He’ll be building mine from now on. 10/10 Highly recommend.

Joel recommends Jon Beanland. I’ve gotten 3 barrels from him. All are shooters. For what it’s worth I ordered a prefit from a known larger company and it wouldn’t even screw into my action. I’ll stay with Jon. Give him a call-(580) 471-3380
