Might want to switch the cheekpiece around, the cut out is there to clear the bolt. And that scope is mounted way forward, it looks very strange. You will probably want to set that up better?!

See, I said it was my first build. :) It was on correctly, I took it off to add spacers to the butt stock and clearly wasn't paying attention to the direction when I put it back on. As for the scope, I haven't been on the gun yet since installing it. The rings are just finger tight until I get to shoot it.

Lol. Not that big. I haven't been on the gun yet since installing it. The rings are just finger tight until I get to shoot it.
Thanks!
You can check out this video to help to determine if you need to take out some of those spacers. This is important for allowing a 90 degree trigger finger, pressing straight to the rear. Also for allowing yourself to get your body perpendicular to the rifle to manage recoil so you can observe your impacts or misses downrange, through the scope.

Credit @Rudy Gonsior and Ridgeline for an awesome reference.

Bergara B14 HMR .308 + Delta Optical Javelin + Spuhr mount + AccuTac BR4 G2

Painting only on photo looks similar to original.. Antracite as base color + sponge camo with gray and sand color.
How do you like the Javelin?

These are my two go to rifles. The ruger rpr in 338 lm, and a 1995 winchester model 70 classic sporter BOSS in .270 i dont know much about the model 70 other than it fooled me thinking it was a pre 64 as it has the extractor and the browning boss system is pretty good actually. Never tuned a break for ammo before this.16149884180105280674442595723797.jpg

The Quickstop/Moobys
Nothing exciting, Tikka tac a1 LE 308. Leupold VX3i LR scope, Badger Ordinance rings. Nothing exciting but enjoying it so far. First chassis I was able to get comfortable with. Only put 20 rounds through it so far, took a bit to sight in, but it seems accurate and got better the more I got used to the chassis.

Nice rifle.
That setup looks fine too me. My setups are very similar. Only downside to my LOP on my aics is it ran out of spacers 😉

I've had similar groups stretched out to 500 so far. Over 5,000rds through the factory barrel and that grouping picture is from a month ago.

Anybody have an armageddon gear silencer cover in "ranger green"? Is it darker in person than in their pics? I'm wanting an OD green cover. Y'all pimp my gun & pick a color while I go clean out the storm shelter.

I'm looking for accurate rifle I can use for shooting targets at 500+ yards and also deer hunting. Probably in a 308. Most all of my hunting is from stands so I'm not too worried about the weight within reason. Any suggestions?

If I may suggest, you might get more responses if you moved your request to the general Bolt Rifle area. This is primarily a picture area where we show off our rifles.
