Original stock took a dump and HS sent a replacement ( I kept the original butt pad so its almost correct) . Paint peeled after opening up the barrel channel. I copied an original return stocks camo scheme. I think it came out pretty good. AS time goes by it should age similarly.

Not my rifle, but copied the scheme.

Nothing too crazy. Ive own this chassis and action since 2010 now. Over the year jsut barrel replacement and optic upgrade. Its not the best in the word but it was there for me in times of stress and just bad times. Probably spent more than I needed to and the action isnt the greatest but it taught me a lot. It exist because I joined SnipersHide way back in 2010 maybe earlier.

savage 12 action with carbon manners stock. started as a 308 now a 6.5.

I'm perusing this thread and keep coming back to this post/pic. I'm not a collector by any means. I view my firearms as tools and typically have 1 tool per job (the exception being shotguns where I have two clay-busting 12-gauges so I can shoot with friends/family at the same time).

That part of me loves this post. There's just something sexy about a well-used, and clearly loved rifle.

Right out of the gate it's a hammer. That load is not worked up to any rifle and you see the group @ 200 yards. I'll need more time behind it, but no issues whatsoever with my first runs... No feeding issues, no ejecting issues... I'm happy :)

How do you like that Curtis Valor action?

How do you like that chassis? I’ve had one with the intention of setting up just to shoot steel at 1000yds or so, but I’ve been thinking about selling it and going a different route. I have the rts, not a Palma gun but still.

Bought myself a new Remmy 300wm earlier this year as my other 300WM was bought off me before I could shoot it properly. This bog stand Remington action and barrel will not grab much attention. Started by removing the stock, the trigger, the floorplate went into the box with bits.

Fitted a Spuhr 20MOA Rail, sprayed the action, Atlasworx floor plate and accurate mag in tactical Coyote Brown. Fitted a Triggertech trigger and we made an E-Tac4 RLA carbon fibre stock for her with FDE base colour. Epoxy bedded. Hausken Suppressor with the mesh inside, Spuhr mount and 3-27x56 PMII with Tremor3. Tier One Bipod.

Chris, got through the lockdown ok. I fear more on the way even though some say over 90% got the jab here in Ireland infection numbers seem the same as before the jab last year going into winter.

what I consider my precision hunting rigs.. I’ve harvested many animals with both and both are amazing shooters. Xp100 was bought new by my pop in 1986 I had it rebarreled 5 years ago to .308 with krieger #5. I bought a busted factory stock off skeetbay, cut the for end off, foamed, shaped and fiberglassed it. Leupold 2.5-8x

Rifle I’ve had for many years was a 6mm Rem.. had rebarrelled to .300WSM PROOF Research sendero carbon fiber wrapped. Hs precision stock with barrel channel opened up for the heavier barrel.
COAL is too long so poly tips will not load in mag box.. that sucks but lapua megas in 200gr shoot amazing and load fine. They are a hammer on deer, bear, and sheep.. haven’t had op for anything else.
Swarovski z6i 5-30x50
I painted both to match..

Great looking rifle. My nucleus action should be here this week for my gunsmith to chamber my 65 Creedmoor Brux HV Barrel it'll be going into the xylo chassis. Looking forward to a great shooter. I love the xylo. Fits my hand like a glove. I'm loving what American Rifle Company is doing with its products.

Not even close. I know this is going to hurt feelings but it's just the unbiased truth. The Bat is by far the smoothest action I've found. It cycles like butter. Like its on ball bearings with almost no freeplay. With that said there's obviously a lot more to actions than feel. I've run it in several matches and countless range days and haven't had an issue. Not to say my TL3 is bad at all. But all things being equal in reliability the bat just brings a whole new feel to "custom"
Which bat is that? Thinking of adding bat to the line up.
