Precision Rifles.....show em!!

My first bolt action ever. Took me months to put together piece by piece. I owe a good amount to the Sniper Hide community here. I've gained a ton of information reading up on personal preferences and their own reasons or whatnot for each part. All while keeping to what I can for how I would like it to feel, its use, and a bit visual. Thank you to all.. except the expense part.

-Lone Peak fuzion action
-Vision Pro
-TriggerTech Diamond 2 Stage
-Razor Gen III 6x36 sitting on Grey Ops CNC
-ACE break

Good looking rifle. What is it chambered in and what barrel? Have you shot it yet?

Action arrived today so I slapped it all together. Robbed the optic off my 223 just to have something on top. Still bare bones but the ACC Elite is a nice upgrade from my old ESS. 26” Bart MTU 6.5x47 in Highland Green, Sniper Gray, (factory ) Black Cerakote. View attachment 8693408
I’ve always love Highland Green. Full length cover looks sick too :)

My first attempt at anything precision. Just took a couple photos of it today. Bergara B14 HMR. Vortex Strike Eagle 5-25x56. Omega 300. Shoots lights out with the right combo of 169 SMK and 175 SMK. Today was the farthest I’ve really been able to take it, but ~15 mph switchy headwind and got my wife making impacts at 600 on a C zone with 175 SMK factory loads.

Culmination of a year or so….setting up my tool head to reload, didn’t want to get going until I had my rifle in hand.

Borden Mountaineer action, r/h bolt & l/h port, timed by Jim with a TT Diamond on a hanger.

Schneider stainless 1-7 medium contour at 28”, threaded 5/8-24 for a TBAC Gen2 Ultra 9 with a timed brake/adapter.

JAE chassis Cerekoated by BMC Custom Coatings then returned to Alamo Precision Rifles who chambered it in 6XC, threaded it on both ends, assembled and bedded into the chassis plus tuned the trigger.

It’s got an ARC M-Brace mount for the ZCO840 scope and as soon as I spin up some ammo I’ll see how it all shakes out.

I used a great friends almost exact rifle last year shooting prairie dogs in SD and that’s why this….115gr DTAC’s obliterated many at 650-750yds.
