Can you tell me more about the mag block you have on the JAE? Is that a gray ops or one you had made for it bc it looks like it was made just for it. Any pics or who to get them from if made specifically? ThanksCulmination of a year or so….setting up my tool head to reload, didn’t want to get going until I had my rifle in hand.
Borden Mountaineer action, r/h bolt & l/h port, timed by Jim with a TT Diamond on a hanger.
Schneider stainless 1-7 medium contour at 28”, threaded 5/8-24 for a TBAC Gen2 Ultra 9 with a timed brake/adapter.
JAE chassis Cerekoated by BMC Custom Coatings then returned to Alamo Precision Rifles who chambered it in 6XC, threaded it on both ends, assembled and bedded into the chassis plus tuned the trigger.
It’s got an ARC M-Brace mount for the ZCO840 scope and as soon as I spin up some ammo I’ll see how it all shakes out.
I used a great friends almost exact rifle last year shooting prairie dogs in SD and that’s why this….115gr DTAC’s obliterated many at 650-750yds.
