Precision Rifles.....show em!!

Hi,

Revision number 3 of receiver and chassis system.
Finally ready for production after a few programming tweaks are made, along with standardizing the screws and such as much as we can.

Well I got super lucky and found a rare Manners folder for my Kimber Advanced Tactical 308. It gave me a detachable mags and mini chassis instead of the crap bedding that kimber did on the McMillan it came in.
This rifle has been one of my favorites... it seems to be the rifle Inshoot more then anything else, and it keeps getting better.

Love that. Any updates on that suppressor?
Oh man, I really like it the MG7. It is a bit louder then my Omega. It is still tolerable to shoot under cover at the range on a bolt gun. It is a bit loud on a AR, but I have not seen a can yet that I can say is amazing on a AR. I shoot them left handed so I get allot of port pop in the face regardless.

I have been intending to order a MGX in 8 or 9 baffle configuration to see how they do when they are about the same length as a Omega or a Nomad... I actually just got a Nomad in the other day, but it might be sold already so demoing it may not be a option.

I think the Rex Silentium offerings are some of the best deals out there right now. Again all I have shot with it is steel, I haven't shot any groups with it on paper. Maybe if the weather is half way decent once it gets light out today I will try that.

Bergara HMR in 6.5 Creedmoor
Talley 20 MOA base
Vortex Pro Low Rings
Vortex Viper PST Gen 2 5-25x50 EBR2C MRAD
Bergara 6.5 break
Harris 6-9 Swivel with podlock

I have 3 different loads that will shoot sub 1/2 MOA with her. Very well the most accurate weapon I have ever owned.View attachment 7445476View attachment 7445477
Literally Just ordered this setup minus the Pro rings, went with the Vortex PMR mediums. Excited to get back into Long range, sold off my R700 .308 5 years ago due to a shoulder injury and missed it alot.

Two safe queens by Robert Gradous

These rifles were built by Robert Gradous a few years back. They have never been used except when Robert developed loads for each of them. Nothing but the best components with no money spared in building them.

One is a 6x47. Surgion action , Krieger barrel, McMillian stock, Jewel trigger, 8x80x56 illuminated March scope (shown with its earlier 10x60 March scope)and night force rings.. I paid Robert extra money to build this and the other rifle. Robert felt this was the most accurate rifle that he had ever built with its only down fall being it was a boring rifle to shoot since it was so accurate.

2nd one is a 260 with all of the same components except it has Sphur mounts and a 12x50 Schmidt and Bender scope.

I will be selling these in the near future as it a shame that they just sit in my safe and are not being used and I am getting to old to carry these around. I am more of a collector of fine expensive rifles and not a shooter or hunter. These are definitely a piece of art completed by my late friend Robert.

Sick as hell! Love Tikka builds have several myself, all hunting guns though. What scope mounts are those?
Thank you :)
Tikka is so easy to build, factory barrels are accuracy, i dont mind if they are a bit slower than cut rifled, once you shoot factory barrel out of order, you can swap custom one.
Scopes i use are Zero Compromise Optic.

Picked up this Bergara BMP yesterday.
  1. Bergara BMP 6.5 CM (so cliche)
  2. Burris Signature HD 5-25x50 w/6.5 CM reticle (not a Vortex, what?!)
  3. Leupold 20MOA rail
  4. Burris Xtreme rings (medium)
  5. Ergo 0 angle grip
  6. UTG Big Bore bipod pictured. Not sure I'll use the big daddy on this little guy but it sure is stable!
Will add a muzzle brake and TT trigger. Stock trigger isn't terrible by any means but there is a tiny amount of creep and it could be lighter.

First shoot this Friday then I'll be throwing copious amounts of money at a reloading setup.

Bighorn Origin action, proof 6.5 24” sendero, triggertech special, krg xray, badger rings, trijicon tenmile 4.5-30x56 ffp mrad optic, harris bipod with adm adapter. 11.8 pounds total!

She is finally ready for the range!

My primary PRS rig
Arc Nucleus, Triggertech special, MPA lite chassis with various weight added, Bushnell DMRii, TR Precision Titanium Suppressor
currently wearing a 26" MTU Criterion barrel nut style 6mm Creedmoor,
also has a 26" MTU Rock Creek 6.5 Creedmoor barrel, And I just finished a 27" Krieger m24 5r in 6BR that I plan on running this year using a brake instead of a suppressor for the 1st time.

The #2 rifle
Blueprinted R700 action, Triggertech special, Xcaliber 22" light varmint in 6.5 Creedmoor, bedded Greyboe Renegade stock with Area 419 Arca rail and home brew Kydex cheek riser, Bushnell DMRii. Also runs a TR Precision Ti suppressor using SiCo ASR mounts. Silly accurate for being one of my Po Boy budget rifles.

My old rig, now set up for PRS Tactical
Blueprinted R700, Timney Calvin Elite, 24" Criterion MTU in 308, Machine shop home built custom chassis with Area 419 Arca rail, Burris XTRii 4-20, SiCo ASR mount. Kinda ugly, but still shoots fantastic.
IMG_0194.jpg

The ELR toy
Armalite AR30a1, currently in factory configuration as 300WM with a shot out barrel. Steiner T5xi 5-25
New 28" Bartlein heavy varmint 1/9 5r is ready to go minus chambering, waiting on a custom 300wm reamer.
Also has a 28" Krieger MTU 338LM barrel and larger bolt head when I want to abuse my wallet and shoulder.

Who hates money more than I do? This Guy ^^^^

Really phenomenal arsenal there my friend!
No, not me. I am one of the poors. I just have the somewhat unique ability to assemble great shooting rifles for myself out of the scraps in the shop, cheap used parts, customers take offs, blems, closeouts etc. Having a big ass lathe and a mill in the shop along with just barely enough skill to get the job done helps a good bit as well.

My main precision rifle, savage 110 (yup, bring on the hate lol). X-caliber m24 contour barrel, mdt acc chassis, jard trigger, nightforce 7-35 in zeiss rings, ken farrel rail, ptg bolt body and head. And a crappy picture, I’ll get something more worthy soon. Lotta people give crap to the savages but it’ll shoot quarter inch groups if you give it a chance the way it sits. With the money invested a custom rifle might have been the better investment but I like it and it will compete with most rifles out there.

Hi,

Aspis system all outfitted and ready to go....except muzzle brake. That goes on today after some more functionality tests.

Sincerely,
Theis
Hey! The F3R Machine mount! Mine arrives tomorrow, how do you like it?

This is my first custom build, pretty stoked on how it’s turning out so far. Barreled action was done by Marc at Spartan Rifles in CA.
-Defiance Tenacity
-Bartlein 24” 1:7.5tw, carbon wrapped varmint contour
-6.5prc
-PVA Jetblast brake
-Triggertech 2-stage special
-Manners Elite PRS1 in GAP camo
-Bushnell XRS2 H59 in nightforce ultralite rings

going to have the barrel shank and muzzle brake cerakoted. Possibly the tan thats in the gap camo on the stock and then I have area419 arca rail coming to throw my atlas on and it’s time to send some.

My Savage 110 Elite Precision in 6mm Creedmoor.. Still fairly new--shot only three times.. Have removed the muzzle brake as I hate them but haven't yet ordered a thread protector.. Bipod is a brand-new Warne SE ARCA that was about 10 times the price of its cheap predecessor and about 10 times better! Have ordered a Rear Bag Rider, a simple rail of bolt-on aluminum, which will make the rifle much easier to shoot from a bench.. Scope is my 'old' NightForce 12-42X56 BR-competition model with the very simple (and VERY small) dot-and-three-pointers retical which I LOVE, but the scope is too long on its short end--and a bit heavy and bulky, too--so I have a Zeiss* V6 5-30X50 coming..

Have shot a few subhalf-inch 3-shot (100-yard) groups with the Sierra TMK95 and Nosler RFD105, but there's more work to do. ... :)

* I'm also a fotografer and have loved Zeiss lenses for decades, so I'm hoping their riflescopes 'look' as good.

Nothing fancy. Just an ordinary Rem 700P out of the box chambered in 300 win mag. I have been experimenting with different handloads and I think I found what works.

I enjoy looking at everyone's rifles. Keep sharing those pics. Someday I would like to have a custom rifle like most of you have.

Thanks

How do you like the Warne bipod? is it possible to lock only the panning while still allowing cant? I like everything about this bipod but I don't want panning.

I like it immediately after mounting it...MUCH more solid than its cheapie predecessor, but I have no idea on the double adjustment; I don't want either so I just tightened the big thumb wheel.. You might look at Warne...

And here's the 'pod @ Amazon...
