My buddy makes toggles and lanyards on long flights at work. I'll have to start doing the same. Nothin' like adding a personal touch to a nice rifle. Let me know, and ill make you one for a nominal fee

Probably the $$$ Thermal one...

Re: precision rifles... show em

Not as nice as most of you guys, but it's what I got. Stock Remington 700pss with a Leupold VXIII 6.5-20. Trying to improve my shooting before I spend too much. I'm still learning about this long range stuff, and this site is an awesome resource for it.

Savage 12FV in .223 with stock 26" heavy barrel. Factory precision is pretty good, this target was at 650 yards. (7 inch group)

Choptop what picatinny rail are you using and where do you get it from ?

Do you need to drill and tap or does it use existing dovetails etc. ?

Re: precision rifles... show em

Just a run of the mill Crusader. If you look close, you can see targets at 500 yrds (upper right of pic).

It is a US Optics rail. GAP did the install. Not sure how they mounted it. It is a 20 MOA base from what I remember.

Re: precision rifles... show em

beautiful collection..how could you not shoot the 50? not just once? I couldnt resist

Re: precision rifles... show em

I have shot an AR-50 several times. The recoil with the muzzle brake feels about like a standard .308 without a brake. It is the softest-recoiling .50BMG I have fired (I have also fired the LAR and the Robar).

Re: precision rifles... show em

Want to sell the AR50 as New in Box. When I got it it was still dirty from the factory test firing. Most guys buying a new rifle don't want the rifle to have been fired by the previous owner.

Just in case Strife doesn't respond (correct me if I am wrong), I believe a DSR-1 is in the $12,000-15,000 range? Yes he has a very nice, and very expensive collection

Re: precision rifles... show em

I bet that rear bag on the St-1000 doesnt work very well! I have an extra wide Edgewood for mine. Best money i ever spent on a bag! Nice rifle! I love those stocks! Lee

Ignore the buckmaster; it's just on there to get me out shooting/developing loads for the time being. Borrowed it off Mrs. Ferret's .243--just don't tell her.
