Range Report Prime 6.5 ammo report

Today I went to the range and shot my first box of Prime 6.5 CM. In my Savage 12 LRP it shoots very good...even better than Hornady 140 ELD-M. The Hornady shoots good the Prime in my gun just shot a little better.

Can you share barrel details? Length and twist?

I know each gun is different but for this gun I will use Prime over Hornady. Plus I have Norma brass I can reload.

I think I will try both the Prime and the 140grn ELDM from Hornady when I take the rifle out. I am hoping the Prime shoots well as it has better brass for future reloads and I really like the speeds guys are getting out of it.

I was getting a little better groups with the Prime 6.5 then the Hornady 140gr ELD Match at a 100 yards with my AIAT 24 inch barrel. Next time out I will have the Magnetospeed to check velocities
