Any issue using a primer pocket uniformer every time to clean out the primer pocket? Or should I only use the cutter once and then switch to the primer brushes to clean out the carbon out of the primer pocket each time after that?

I've ALWAYS used my primer pocket uniformer to clean the pockets and never had an issue.
Sometimes, when I wet tumble with SS pins, the primer pockets are so clean there no need for any further cleaning. Even so, I typically still like to use the uniformer to be sure the pockets are at a uniform depth as I tend to be a stickler about uniformity of my brass.
I use mine everytime. It not only uniforms the bottom of the primer pocket but is an excellent tool for cleaning it. I also get a little brass each time so the brass does flow to the pocket just a little.
