Any issue using a primer pocket uniformer every time to clean out the primer pocket? Or should I only use the cutter once and then switch to the primer brushes to clean out the carbon out of the primer pocket each time after that?

I just use the uniformer, no issues using it every time. I've never used a brush, doesn't seem like they'd work very well.

I've ALWAYS used my primer pocket uniformer to clean the pockets and never had an issue.

Sometimes, when I wet tumble with SS pins, the primer pockets are so clean there no need for any further cleaning. Even so, I typically still like to use the uniformer to be sure the pockets are at a uniform depth as I tend to be a stickler about uniformity of my brass. :giggle:

I use mine everytime. It not only uniforms the bottom of the primer pocket but is an excellent tool for cleaning it. I also get a little brass each time so the brass does flow to the pocket just a little.

I use mine every time, but the carbon in the pocket will dull a tool steel uniforming tool in a hurry. Only carbide from here forward.
