Printed Precision Trickler

Any further updates on when these will be available?
We are getting new disks to address trickle inconsistencies (which I haven't personally experienced), and some additional updates to the bulk hopper are WIP. Consider the usual turnaround time for testers to test, feed back, then try a revision to verify - I would guess mid-May to finalize the design and end of May to have a limited pilot qty available via two planned distributors.

Full disclosure, I have just run through another 300 rds today, with two different powders, without issue. Other testers are still experiencing hiccups and my impression is the creator wants those sorted before going commercial.

To add to this, the test group is actively finding and quashing the normal kinds of issues you find when a product first encounters the public. Testing with more powders in different environments, nailing down quality of life stuff, giving feedback on the user interface, etc etc.

Hopefully it leads to a smoother rollout when PP decides it's ready!

What, You don't want a rollout like some other automatic powder dispensing products I can remember? Just think of all the forum posts you could generate. All the cool kids launch with beta software, the tech bros in silicon valley showed us the way.

It is forbidden to think in that way, as if the clock is ticking or things can be predicted

Paul is actually working at the speed of light, and time has slowed down

It says the first 15 units will be shipped out Saturday and all remaining orders fulfilled by June 30 if you believe that
Reread the website. It says they will start accepting orders for the first batch of 15 (approximately) on June 14th (Saturday). The first batch will ship out no later than June 30th.

The price point is higher than I was hoping for. 🤷‍♂️ I was planning to hop on this as soon as it launched, but I'll be waiting until reviews are out. $350+shipping seems a bit steep for an unproven 3d printed trickler.

I received a response this afternoon.

"Once I return home this weekend I will be able to sort through all the inquiries I’ve received and provide people with their reservation numbers, but in the meantime I’m just making sure people know their email has been received and not just thrown into the void!"

Received this yesterday:

Hello,

I am pleased to announce that the time has arrived for initial release of the Printed Precision Trickler System!

The first available batch of tricklers will be limited to 15 units based on current inventory of controller boards, so I have sorted through the received early interest emails based on date of first contact to assign reservation numbers for fair allocation of available units.

Based on this review, your reservation number is

XX

Since you are outside the first 15 reservations, I am unfortunately not yet able to offer you a unit from the first production batch at this time. That said, if those ahead of you in the reservation queue decline to make a purchase or do not respond within 7 days their position will be instead offered to the next in line until all 15 units have been spoken for.

These units, along with currently planned future batches, will be priced at $350 plus shipping, and include everything you need to get started dispensing kernel-perfect charges other than the scale itself and scale power supply (currently the trickler is compatible with only A&D fx-120/300 series scales and similar, with future plans including compatibility with additional scale types).

Additional batches of trickler systems will become available as soon as my bulk order of controller boards arrives, which at the absolute latest should still be prior to the end of July. While I apologize for the inconvenience, we appreciate your continued patience throughout the development and release process and look forwards to helping you make loading consistent ammunition a breeze!

I got this same response.
