I have read several post on snipers hide regarding ranging binos and it was so muddied up by how the range finder reads or rounds to. I have looked though alot of binos and am not sure what I want. Im looking for a good pair that range or binos and a range finder combo. I would like one of them to connect to my 5700 and be very accurate. I dont really care about price I just want the best but I would like peoples honest opinions if something less expensive works just as good thats great to. Im trying to get the best gear and im sure I can get the best info right here. Thank you

There’s several great threads already on this fyi. Just use the search. Leica and Sig 3000bdx are two of the more popular. With the former having best glass but some spotty connection issues with 5700 and the latter having, in my opinion really good glass and excellent, lightening fast ranging and consistent connection with 5700.

We all know snipers hide search meanu leave alot to be desired and the ones i found were brand specific. I know i didn't say in the earlier post but im intrested in what people thing is the gold standard for prs. I.e. ranging binos or best bino plus best range finder with in reason. Im not paying 7k for a range finder but other than that. What the best setup

Not to add to the confusion, but I have not really found a need to range anything in PRS. I have only shot in Texas but everyone seems to use Swaro 15x56 SLCs (non rangefinding) and there's usually a terrapin x or two in the squad if ranges come into doubt.

shoot enough matches and you'll wish you had them

or want to do other styles of matches. or simply shoot on a new range

I dont really care about price I just want the best equipment. Personally the swaro i look through at matches are way better glass. I would like to know what people who shoot alot of matches would use if they had any options

Binos with rangefinder would be my choice. I no the sig is popular among shooters. I think the lieca has a better rangfinder smaller beam to range through loopholes. I look through the swaro rangefinder binos they r awesome. Don't no the beam size on them though

I really don't care either way I have not found the need for a range finder as of yet but I would like the ability if I need it. I just want the optimal setup either best binos and range finder or lrf binos
You should make the decision if you want this as two items or one. I personally prefer to have these as two separate tools. You lose light transmission when you add the rangefinder to the binos. I think you could buy a top shelf pair of binoculars and a top shelf lrf, both would be better tools than a combo unit AND you'd likely spend less money.

Going down this path I ended up with Swaro SLCs and a terrapin x
