just left an order inquiry at specialized dynamics! havent gotten a phone call yet but im still happier than a dog. from what ive seen and heard their work is top notch. paying my way through college at 18 is tough to do but working through the summers in high school and tons of scholarships ive finally saved up enough. pretty cheap rifles for what you get in my opinion. 6.5 grendel AR with all the bells and whistles for what im hoping will end up around $1600 after dros and shipping etc. gonna be a long wait, hopefully itll get up to wyoming before i head home for break

any one have any SD rifles you wouldnt mind showin off?

Congrats, as a current undergrad myself I know what it's like to come on here and approximate how long it would take to save up for one rifle. My AR's taken me over a year and I'm still waiting on some parts.

im actually planning on following my fathers footsteps and becoming a fire fighter. i plan to major in forestry of something along those lines so i have the option of working in the city or working on an engine crew for the forest service. i was actually set up to almost head off to MEPS (Marine Corp) after i took the ASVAB and the recruiter could not stay away (scored a 98). i come from a looooong line of marines who fought in most conflicts this country was involved in and wanted to keep the tradition strong until my fathers battle with cancer took a turn for the worse and needed to stay home more with the family.

it takes a lot of work for sure! i was just lucky i qualified for another scholarship and got a tuition refund close to $2500! i have an AR (A2 model) back home that i paid for from many hours working around town doing odd jobs and at a boy scout summer camp.
