Night Vision PVS 30 on a pellet rifle

A spring powered air gun will need a springer rated scope. I have had a Weaver V16 4-16 on my .22 cal Air Arms air gun for over 15 years. I have zero information on night optics.

Running a FX500 25 cal with NV it is completely quiet and amazingly accurate. Camping out on my deck at night gives me a bit of PRS practice on the rats hanging out near my chickens... lol

Many air rifles are integrally suppressed,
My Benjamin marauder is very quiet, more so than a suppressed 22lr
Excellent reply. Being an accurate, good power, been out for years, quality gun is a wise choice.

OP, take your time and watch youtube videos by Ted`s Holdover. Watch his older videos on air rifles BEFORE the price explosions.
Understand that a PCP gun will need an air source. Be it a hand pump, tank, which will need filling, or a tank and air compressor.

I refer you to Ted because of his straight forward talk, explanations, and thorough examples.

One does not NEED a $2000 air gun plus scope, tank, compressor, and lots of pellets to get the job done. But, that is a choice.

Good luck.

Also my last piece of advice would be run slugs if They fit in your magazine/ airgun. The air force airguns are single shot loaded so I can run long OaL bullets but even so NSA has some great performing .22 &,25 cal slugs for the FX and marauder series of rifles. Pellets are flawed in design from the get go. The Nielsen specialty ammo Slugs shoot flatter and more accurately.

I didn’t think slugs like the FX smooth twist???

Eliteuas, you are not telling me anything I don`t already know. I have been shooting air guns for over 40 years. Not everyone wants to spend $5000 to kill yard pests. I will not get into a pissing match with you. You win, I am out.

OP:

Maybe have Reed Knight answer that question? A PVS 30 is built like a tank and is not a "scope" in the traditional sense (erectors, turrets, etc.). It does however have a focus so best to ask Knights to be sure.

View attachment 7057612This was version 2.0 of my air rifle. A custom air force airguns condor rebarelled / new internals to shoot 85gr HPBT bullets at 1000fps. Working on version 3.0 now. Eventually a pvs24 lr WP will sit on it.
Dude u ROCK ! Love the setup. I know he air gun... always keep an eye out on Pyramidair. I just don’t know if I really want to invest in a PCP set up right now. Maybe down the line that would be fun. I have a nice Beeman R8 that I have owned since I was 15 years old. I just had it refurbished edit shoots like a gem. I have taken out more birds and varmint with that gun than all my others put together!
