So after reading about bipods here so much I've decided I want an Atlas, Problem being my rifle only has the swivel stud up front. I know there are several adapters out there that attach to the stud to allow attachments that use the rail but I'm not sure how solid they would be. I'd be buying the Atlas to improve accuracy over distance, reduce the hop, and etc etc etc and I would hate to negate the cost of that bipod with a $30 piece of garbage attached to my stock...

If I just should go with the Harris let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Re: QD Stud to Rail adapter for bipod

Ive seen that thread, I have a synthetic stock and own absolutely no tools anyway, even if I could get those bits I don't think I'd trust myself to drill and install them correctly if you even can drill a synthetic stock like that.

I was looking for a simpler solution, something like this...

Just worried if it would contradict the quality of my stock and the Atlas bipod by rubber banding and bubble gumming two pieces of equpiment together
