Okay so I've got my two scopes from the SWFA Black Friday deal, and I'll admit I haven't dealt with many scopes before.

I have not mounted the scopes yet, but for the 6x I set it on a box that was steady so I could look through the scope. I can make the object I'm looking at clear with the adjustable ring that has 10m 20-30-50-100 etc on it. The problem I'm having is that the crosshairs are fuzzy or hardly even visible. The rear ring has a + 0 - on it and it doesn't feel like it moves.

Can someone help me out on the nomenclatures of the items on the scopes and how to use them?

The scopes look great, they will definitely be better than the operator for quite a while..

Re: Question about SWFA 6x SS

You have to adjust that ocular lens. It might seems like it's stuck but it's the lock ring that locks it. Mess with it until you get it lose. If you have a friend or family around have them grab and hold the front objective lens while you grab the ocular (eye piece) and try to get it lose.

I had the Butler Creek cover over the part that needed to rotate..guess I should have looked it over more before putting those on.

Thanks for the info though.
