Question about Tikka T3 Tactical

I have read many good things about the Tikkas, but never owned one. Ran across a used one at a great price (includes a Leupold Mark 4 3.5-10x M1 Mil-Dot scope), and need some advice. Its serial number dates it to 2007 - and I don't know the round count. My question is this - what should I be looking for on a used Tikka for signs of wear/breakage/whatever? What would be reasons to not buy it? Thanks for any and all help.

Depends on price.

You could buy a tikka ctr soon which is cheaper with a lot of similarities in addition the trg mag an dbm

If the price is good I would not hesitate. I have a heavy barrel in 223 1in 8 an 308 both shoot sub .5

Edit: Never mind, I was being lazy and then just broke out my google-fu. Looks like Eurooptics has them listed for just under a grand. I think this may be just the thing for the wife (.260 variant) to get her started. If she loses interest, no worries; I'll still have a decent platform to work with for a custom build...

Fella in need of funds badly and only wants $1300 for both the T3 tactical and the scope - screaming deal in my mind, but wanted to know what I should look for on the rifle. He is 2nd owner, so doesn't know round count.

I have been looking at the new tikka CTR as well in the .260 Remington but wondering how much the 20" barrel will hurt for shoot ranges past 1000 yards.

as stated the barrels are blued.
