Question everything reloading related.

Don’t tumble unless brass was in dirt. Then just long enough to get that off.

You can seat from .005 all the way to .200 or more. You’ll find seating nodes throughout.

You don’t quench

I anneal every firing
Do you have one of those fancy induction annealers? I’m having a hard time justifying $30 for tempilaq or any of the $400 annealing tools on the market.

30 minutes of it needs to be quick to an hour usually to when I remember it.

.010-.070 depending on what it shows it likes.

No quench, once it’s out of the heat it’s not gonna get any hotter.

Yes, every firing.

Is quenching gonna be the new flavor of the month?

OP, some metals change when quenched in various substances. Brass is not one of them. Nothing metallurgical happens when you dump it in water after annealing. You just create more work for yourself.

I rarely clean brass.
wipe it of and brush the neck lightly.

Let the barrel decide on jump.
.020 to .080 is common for me, sometimes more.

Anneal? YES!!!!
I generally anneal after every 4-5th loading.
Many anneal more often than me.

Quench?
