Question for our Troops over seas

Im doing a project at school, a Civics In Action Project. The goal is to help out citizens of the U.S. I thought right away that Ill send care packages over to our troops in the sandbox.

What would you guys want? I'm a minor, so I cant get everything that may come to mind.

What do want that you aren't supplied with? Foods? Is silly string still being use a lot?

Im not sure where I'd send it to, but Ill figure that out. If you want, you can leave your Military Address and Ill try my best to get one shipped to you.

So, whatever you guys want, tell me and Ill do everything in my power to make it happen.

send stuff like:
beef jerky,magazines,baby wipes,white hanes calf length socks,candy (stuff that wont melt), foot powder, drink mix(gatorade,crystal lite,kool aid) and stuff like that. Make sure you send stuff that isnt perishable goods.

I just got back, but I can tell you that lickies and chewies are always welcome. Licorice, gum, cheezits, girl scout cookies... all of those things were devoured really fast. Trust me, not too many guys were turning up their noses at the items in the care packages.

Thanks for looking after the folks downrange. You'd be surprised how much a care package is appreciated.

Since you have experience wearing mil uniforms for your hunting/ghillie purposes, keep in mind items that can be put into the cargo pockets and not bang the shit out of the leg while on a dismounted patrol.

those tuna packets are excellent and a welcome quick meal on a patrol.

Anything that can be eaten quickly and carried easily, as well as poured into a water bottle are gold. Especially that Special K Protein lemonade stuff.

exlax chocolate pieces were always a favorite to give to the little boys who were such a pain in the ass...saved the real chocolate for the girls.

Great for sweaty feet, crotch and armpits

2) Thermal calf length socks

You be surprised how fucking cold the desert gets at night

3) Baby wipes:

beacuse a whores bath is better than no bath

4) batteries

5) current reading materials

keeps the mind stimulated

6) Stickies and lickies

We all big kids at heart

7) An email address;

You would be surprised how people look forward to some conversation over the net with someone that can provide some comfort to them so far at home... dont let the art of conversation die...

Cases of silly string! Nothing beats a silly string war after a long day of whatever. I can vouch for that since I have seen a few silly string wars erupt when the box was opened
