Question on a Ruger Precision Rifle

I’ve got what may be a dumb question.....
I bought a RPR 6.5 creedmor about a month ago from Academy Sports. It’s got a 24” 1:8 bbl. my question is how do I know what generation it is?

I thought gen 2 had keymod and gen 3 had Mlok.

If it’s a factory M-LOK rail, as far as all my studying it has to be gen 3. Gen 1 and 2 are key mod rails. I just bought one.

Gen 1 handguard is keymod rail with picatinny top rail.

Gen 2 handguard is keymod rail with smooth top rail.
