So I have been slowed up on my ordering. Got tripped up with a few questions that have taken a long time to hear back from Mcmillan so I'll ask you guys. I'll try and link the order form so you can reference the form in case I am not clear.

http://www.mcmillanusa.com/documents/McMillanOrderForm.pdf

1. What is the difference between: Flat top, Basic Inlet, Full Inlet, and a custom drop in?
2. What Diameter are they asking about on the order form?
3. At the risk of sounding like a complete idiot... What is the contour of the barrel on my 700 AAC-SD?
4. I dont understand the differences between all of the pads that they offer.
5. What are the anodized rails?

Thanks Guys,
Sorry I am such a newb...

ETA: The gun that I am re-stocking is a new Remington 700 AAC-SD

Re: Questions on ordering my new stock...

1. Can't answer everything, but a basic inlet is MOSTLY inletted for the action of your choice. You finish it up, full inlet SHOULD be a drop in fit for a factory action.

2. Diameter of the action. You don't need this as it is a standard factory 700

3. Varmint contour

4.Thickness and style of recoil pads. 1" decelerator is a nice pad without getting too fancy

By the way, you have a remington BDL floorplate (in case you weren't sure)

5. Rails are inletted on the bottom of the fore end for mounting a bi pod adapter that can be moved fore and aft on the rail.
