Hello all. I was wondering if anyone out there is currently handloading the .338 Lapua Magnum for the McMillan Tac-338? I am currently trying a few different powders, but so far, I'm still not quite able to achieve 1/2" moa at 100 yards. I am currently loading 250 gr.FMJBT LAPUA projectiles. I am getting ready to try some Sierra Matchkings. I was also thinking about trying some 300 grain projectiles in Lapua and Sierra as well. Any ideas or comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone.

We need a bit more info regarding your loads.

250 Scenars, 250 SMKs, 300 Scenars, 300 SMKs, 300 Bergers and the 250 Hornady HPBTs and their 285gr HPBTs when they become available, should all shoot sub MOA if you get the right combos.

I've tried reloader 25, reloader 19, H-1000. Haven't tried Retumbo yet. What would be a good starting point? How far off of the lands are you starting with the 300 grainers??
