So I had an idea for a quick detach chassis weight that is essentially a 1.5 inch x 1.5 inch square bar stock cut to 12” length, and drilled and tapped at each end to accept 2x area 419 ARCA rail adapters, cerekote it black and slap a stupid sticker on it so it doesn’t look like a dumb brick. Basically you could clamp on 7 pounds of weight to a rifle once set up for a session. This would be for an ELR application obviously, and could be made for around a hundred bucks.
Curious if anyone has tried this before, or heard of anything like this. I could be a total idiot, but if something like this pops up on MDTs website next year you heard it here first.
