I was able to buy one of the LMSS spotters earlier this year for $400 when they were liquidating them.

I would really like to get some of the rails I have seen for them but the only thing I can find is this system from BO, and its $600.

Is there anywhere to buy individual rails or a cheaper alternative?

Thank you,

When the LMSS2 comes out Bushnell may offer the factory rails separate like they used to. Bushnell told me that would be soon. (Last month but didn’t happen

LaRue makes a high rise mount but requires a factory rail.

Badger is really the best option and really the only option unless you can customize something perhaps. For now I guess.

If you dig around you can find the rails for the LMSS for sale but they aren't much cheaper than the Badger setup (which is pretty slick). There's a thread on here where a guy built his own which is probably your best bet if you have the ability/tools to do so.

Yea I cant find any of the actual good rails for sale other than the badger system.

I wish badger would sell the rails ala cart. Atleast I could buy what I need and not a bunch of useless shit.

i'd pay for the bushnell rails, i think they were around $3-350, but not interested in Badger pricing.

New spotter is available. Not much news re the additional rails right now.

Last I asked the guys at Bushnell, extra rails will be a while. Not sure what the holdup is other than the entire industry is borked right now.

I just 3D printed mine.

The picatinny rail slots are not perfect. I designed them when I was first getting into CAD. Send me a DM and I can hook you up with the .stl file.

Bushnell is not selling additional LMSS rails anytime in the foreseeable future. I am trying to find someone to CNC extra side rails out of aluminum. Let me know if anyone is interested.

If, and this is a big IF....

Would anyone want these made from MLOCK or does everyone wanat Pic Rails? IN talks with a buddy to do a run of rails and we are trying to figure out a gameplan.

UPDATE: I spoke to Badger and they said they have been contracted to supply the new rails for Bushnell. No specific date, but "soon".

I called Bushnell last week and they said they had no plans to make more any time soon.

I am going to make a batch of these in the next couple months. Tired of waiting.

Optics Planet shows one in stock, so they should actually have it.

I've had pretty good luck with them recently. Last two orders shipped the day after I placed the order.

Optics Planet is notorious for listing things as in stock when they aren't. In my experience, clearance items seem to actually be on hand, though, so maybe you'll get lucky. Even at the DVOR price, I don't have enough use for the bottom rail to snag one. If it was a side rail, that might be different.

That is the bottom rail extension used for putting a clip on in front.

99% of users want the side and top rails, which they refuse to make.

Mocking things up with 3D printer before I make it on the mill. Made both the top rail (which should also work on the side) with picatinny and bottom rail with ARCA.

Spent some more time on this, here's what it looks like as-machined and after sand blasting. What do you think?

I've never done any coating/surface treatment so will have to figure that part out.

Just received mine from Derek (Derek1ee) today. Ordered mine with zero finish/coating to look at the machining and man are these CLEAN! Form fit, no sharp edges and consistent between each rail. Likely will update this as I put the SiCo radius and red dot on but Dereks rails are go

Fast and secure shipping as well.

Received my rails today from @derek1ee. They are awesome. We spoke Thursday and here they are. They were packaged like a million dollar necklace. Hardware was included. Tried attachments on and fit perfect. Better get your order in soon, he’s gonna get real busy! Can’t wait for the ARCA attachment!!!

thanks Dereck

My LMSS2.... the top rail came with the scope - the two side rails came from Derek (derek1ee). I did not really "need" both side rails but the scope seemed imbalanced without the second rail.... I blame it on OCD 😀. The rails have been finished in Graphite Black type C Cerakote.
