I call this my "rainy day" rifle because I spent my rainy day money on it.
Specs
CMMG receivers I bought this one because its serial number is my birthday 10th of April 79'
Black hole weaponry BBL 18" 1/8
PWS brake
Bolt carrier group CMT auto from Bravo Company
BCM gunfighter charging handle
JP free float tube
JP adjustable gas block
Atlas bipod
Timney trigger whichsoon will be changed out for a geissele (damn you Chiller you should have told me not to touch yours)
Also I have a Magpul PRS and a Vortex 6.5-20 PST with the Vortex cantilever mount as well as a dust cover that will be here next week. The cheap mount and old Bushnell will work for now.

I will be heading to the range this afternoon for some load development using 69gr Barns Match Burners and 75gr Amax's with Reloader 15 and Varget

When I get caught up it will get some Cerakote.

Re: Rainy day AR

I shot it with some green tip junk to test function and I like the adjustable gas block. There is a very noticeable difference in recoil when you tune it to the load. The hand guard is comfortable too, for me its just the right diameter. They also look nice.

I cant wait for the scope to get here, I'm jonesing to try it at distance. Hopefully this rifle will help prolong the barrel life of my 6.5x47.

I also hope to get my wife to shoot with me more often using this rifle. She is fun to look at while she is laying prone

We will need pictures to confirm that last remark.

this is the consensus of the internets lately.

Re: Rainy day AR

Sorry to hear that. Give it a chance, work up some loads. It may take time. Look at it as a way to justify more range time.
