Rangefinder ??

I will be shooting in the Hornady Precision Hunter shoot in August. Have to Range your own targets will have 12" diamonds out to 1000 yds. Will the Sig 3000 or the Vortex RF Binos reliably range that far on a 12" target?

Doug, Do you know if the Sig Kilo3000 will pair up with the Kestrel Sportsman I recently purchased from you folks? Would like to pair without having to upgrade to Kestrel Elite. I've read a bunch of conflicting info...
