Hey guys,
Well, I have been shooting Marks gun for probably almost two years and just when I think she is not going to get any better I get surprised!

Comparing results using different bushings in my hand loads and compared them at 600 yards.

Here is the gun, only difference is the length of barrel cut down to 22" and the NV rail which is a Badger instead of a PWG. I also recently got the surefire suppressor, and I have to tell you that thing is sweet!!

Group at 600yds, I shot two groups using two different bushings for the .308, the .337 bushing wasn't anything special but probably a little over 1/2 MOA. This was the second group using the .336 bushing.

Anyone who has shot with me knows I am not a very good group shooter (hence the shot low right), and actually don't like doing it very often, but sometimes curiosity gets the best of me and I like to put things on paper.

Mark builds a super rifle, still look forward to shooting this during the up coming season till we get my new competition gun (cheater gun)!! Yes I am drinking the cool aid but still not following the pack!!

Re: Raven M40A5

What brass are you using? With a 0.015" neck thickness the 0.336" bushing is the best choice based on my experience. when it comes to neck tension a little can make a big difference.

Re: Raven M40A5

I just received a Raven Rifles M40A5 and could not be happier! The gun is awesome in every detail. Mark is a great builder and a great guy to deal with.

VERY nice rig Hogstooth!

The suppressor overlaps 1.7" but the brake also adds to the OAL of the rifle by about 2.5" or a lil more. You can look up the specs of the brakes and suppressors on surefire's web site. You could also go with the 211C brake or as some refer to it as the 762K brake which only adds to the OAL of the rifle by about 2.5" and there is no barrel overlap. Either way you can't go wrong with either can, great set up and easy.
