Very new to reloading here and I hate bugging my 'tutor' on thanksgiving day as I hit him with non-stop questions so maybe someone is bored cooking their feast and has a suggestion. The Redding Model 2 scale is bang on I can weight a bullet 10x in a row and it's on 8x and maybe .05 off on 2..at most a hash mark width. The RCBS Uniflow though.....I'll get 3 in a row right on 43.8 and then blam I'll get a 44.0 or even under at 43.6 with StaBall 6.5! I'd love for this to be a me thing and I'm just not doing it right, but damn I've tried all I can think of. I was up til midnight just doing drop after drop testing it and no consistency to the point I'd feel good not trickling up every single round. Same pace on upstroke and downstroke. The adjustment assembly is snugly in place. I have ordered the internal baffle in the hopes that might help, but is there anything else this idiot can do? I don't want to end up like Russel Crowe in 'A Beautiful Mind'....this is driving me nuts!
