I brought this problem up a few months ago.. I havent been behind the rifle in about 3 months now as ive been super busy with work and school. So now im back behind the rifle and still having the same issue... here we go:
Ive been having problems with my wotac scope since i got it. I initially thought that this was a problem with me. But im starting to think it may not be. I dont seem to have this issue with another scope i have (Zeiss Diavarian) but it does not have an external parralax adjustment.
When im sighting a target (specifically when at high power), i am able to obtain a clear target picture using the parralax adjustment. But at high power, the reticle seems to fade away, leaving me with no reticle!
Heres a pic of basically what im seeing.. This is about 125 yards, 14x magnification. (if i adjust the focus on the camera, i am able to bring the reticle into focus. but the pic is what i am seeing with my own eyes)
I am able to obtain a clear and sharp image of the reticle, but when i focus on the target, it vanishes.. I don't know if this is an issue with me eyes or an issue with the scope
This happens with both my dominate and my non-dominate eye.
If i pull away from the scope, then look back through it, i can see the reticle momentarily. But as i focus on the target, the reticle fades. I am unable to have both the reticle and the target in focus.
anyone ever had this happen? I dont know where to start
