*READ* Using the Search Fucnction *Newbs*

Re: *READ* Using the Search Fucnction *Newbs*

A Google advanced search input screen is shown below. That search turned up more than 3900 links to posts with mil, moa, and hunting in them. Some of them are <span style="font-style: italic">not</span> related to hunting, but many are. This is just a sample search - be creative with your own search terms.

The Google advanced search, restricted to snipershide.com as shown in the input screen, is by far the best way to search this site. Feel free to click on "Date, Usage Rights,..." to further restrict the search.

For the new guys on this forum, there is a snipershide search engine. PLEASE use this before asking redundant questions.

*Example* "How do you properly break in a new barrel"...and the list goes on.
The search function is a tool that needs to be used:

If you cut out all of the redundant questions on this site there will not be much to post about

If you come across something that has been talked about before. Pass it by..

Nothing pissed me off more than someone posting " use the search button"

Grow Up!!!

Re: *READ* Using the Search Fucnction *Newbs*

.257, Seeing the same question five times is a little bit redundant.

Sorry that it makes you upset that im trying to get rid of "Do you guys think I should clean my rifle every time I go shooting?" or "Is this a good rifle for the money" or better yet "how do you properly break in a barrel". I asked this last question myself when I first signed up here. Now I know its a bunch of bull. If there was a search function stickey I would of used that...

Re: *READ* Using the Search Fucnction *Newbs*

What I posted was pasted in from a file on my P.C.

The image of the Google search is stored on my web site.

It's a useful technique for questions that get asked a lot. Keeps me from typing a lot.

People who don't know to search probably won't look at stickies, either.

Re: *READ* Using the Search Fucnction *Newbs*

I understand your frustration and I am a newb. The "this Remington or that Remington" are the only ones that get to me sometimes. I searched the site for a couple of years before ever posting just to keep from getting bashed when I did. Once I ran across the google search, it was on!
