Looking for a good website to purchase an Esse Izula and an Esse 4. Anyone have a suggestion where to buy them?

I am also going to add a Benchmade Triage. It would be nice to buy them all from the same place.

Supporting a hide sponsor would be a bonus.

Thanks for the help!

Re: Ready to buy Esee knives....best place?

knivesshipfree.com is out of the izula kit (black blade)

the-knife-connection.com has the izula kit but is out of the ESEE-4PCPMB

notjustknives.com is out of the izula kit (black blade)

knifeworks.com is out of the izula kit (black blade)

chestnutridgeknifeshop.com does not offer the ESEE-4PCPMB kit and is about $10 high on the Izula kit (black blade)

ebay.com is the antichrist (and prices are higher than buying direct from vendors)

Hate to buy two knives from the same manufacturer from two different vendors and get hit with an extra $8.95 in shipping.

Re: Ready to buy Esee knives....best place?

The Smokey Mountian Knife works has awesome customer service and every knife you can image. I bought my Topps knife there and it was 45% off. Some times they have sales on certian brands and they are like one of the largest knife companies in the world. I was at the store about 2 months ago and its huge.

Re: Ready to buy Esee knives....best place?

Smokey Mountain Knife Works does indeed have the two knives that I want in stock...... but they are about $14 more expensive than other retailers on the Izula and $27 higher on the Esee-4.

The general picture seems to be:

If the prices are good, they are out of stock. If the prices are high, they are in stock.

Not fun for the consumer, but probably a good indication that ESEE knives are a popular product. The search goes on.

Re: Ready to buy Esee knives....best place?

When they are high on price you can call them and tell them alot of times they will match or beat that price by 10%. They say they wont be undersold. I know what you mean though on sometimes being higher but its worth the call and ask if they can beat that price.

If you are still looking, try grand prarie knives (although not a hide sponsor i don't think). storefront is in Troy IL (St Louis area). Good prices and straight foward website and honest backorder/inventory status.

Re: Ready to buy Esee knives....best place?

grand prarie knives does not carry the esee 4 with the molle back kit. The non molle back kit is out of stock. same story as all the other dealers. the dealers that stock both seem to be 20% high on their prices.

+1 on Bladehq.com

Re: Ready to buy Esee knives....best place?

my search is still ongoing.......those dealers that carry both the esee 4 and the izula kits that i want are very expensive. Dealers that have good pricing have little in stock. Esee has started to offer the new "clip point" knives, offering a second blade edge on the top of the blade (clip point top edge blade run half the length of the main blade edge). This is making it even harder for me to find an esee 4 kit without the clip point blade.

Re: Ready to buy Esee knives....best place?

Found the ESEE 4 plain blade with molle back kit. action sports in texas is an authorized dealer. They do not offer them through their web site, but was able to purchase one through their fleEbay store. I did confirm that Action Concepts is on Esee's web site as a web authorized retailer for ESEE.
