Suppressors Realistic spread to attribute to loose suppressor?

Got my just built 6.5 Grendel to the range today. Broke in barrel with no suppressor and gas block closed. Groups looked pretty good. Close to MOA. Then confirmed stability and proceeded to shot with the suppressor and gas block open. First group looked promising. (Three touching and two about an inch away.) Next three opened up to HUDGE 5 or 6 inches. Factory Hornady 123 ELD -M was about the same. Well dang! Went toe clean and suppressor was loose. No strike but obviously loose.
Question - 5 or 6 inches sound possible with a loose suppressor?
129gr ABLR with 30 - 30.6 of CFE 223 in 0.2 increments.

Sure, I've seen anywhere from no change if it stayed pretty straight to endcap strikes (which can be like a dozen feet off)

Thanks guys! I’ve been thinking about getting a CB Mount (ultra 7) for it but mailing a suppressor really worries me!

Yep, I’ve got a can that will spray bullets all over the paper unless tightened to 20+ ft-lbs. That’s more than hand tight, at least with my hands.

Easily that much with a loose suppressor no matter how loose too a tiny bit off and they spread
