I'm doing alright right now eyeing parallax distances and where they generally are but would rather have something a bit more permanent on my parallax knob. For example, my parallax-free 25 yards is somewhere between the 25 and 30, and I eye it to be like 2/3". My parallax free for 100 is about 3/4's between the 100 and 200.

So I was trying to find something super fine point that could draw a nice white/silver line on the black parallax knob. I could do a fine etch, but that's a bit more permanent then I would like.

Any recommendations on something fine tipped that'd work well on the parallax knob? I was considering getting white out, nail polish and a toothpick maybe.

Sharpie oil based paint markers is also a good choice. I love the vividness of the colors. Even when working with a glossy and dark surface like metal, the ink colors still pop and stays vivid. Other markers tend to get washed out when the surface is already reflective but I did not experience that problem with these markers.

FLYMAX is a wonderful white marker that works on metal, leather, paper, plastic, glass, fabric, stone, wood, canvas, and concrete, among other surfaces. It is non-toxic, water-resistant, and odorless. I think it work well on the parallax.
