Been allot of questions as to what makes the best ablative for suppressors. Water is the best, efficient but vaporizes in one or two rounds and, depending on the barrel (and/or some cans) can lead to corrosion. It also shakes out. Light oils (RemOil) can work well for a few more rounds, same with the clear wire pulls. Below is the right way to load up for a full couple of clips. Keep the amount of material to 10cc and it will not be a mess and will provide remarkable suppression. The important parts are small amounts of material and the twist/extract.
.45 loaded like this are quieter than .22s and some suppressed .22s.
You can hear the fan, the bullet strike, the shell bouncing on the floor, all with .45 ball ammo. Muffs were on for the other shooters on the line.
