Recommend a Shorter, Lighter More Portable Upper for a Knights SR25 308 Lower?

I have an original SR25 308 match build from 1980s with the heavy barrel upper and looking to slap an upper on it for a more lightweight rig.
would prefer something off the shelf, and not to build the upper myself- not enough time, that sort of thing.
key is light weight, durability with reasonable accuracy.
thoughts?

I would think if you could find a Larue 7.62 Predator upper. I know they have a thinner barrel profile which will lighten the weight up a bit. I'm assuming your Kac lower is registered?

Here's a guy in Ca who was selling one not long ago. Might still have it??
