Just wanted to check the hive mind before I recommend to a friend.
He's looking for:
A fixed 4 or 6x for his 5.56 ar that has a bdc reticle.
Price point around 600.
I'm only familiar with trijicon, elcan and eotechs but their out of his reach. I told him he's probably looking to spend closer to 1k.
My recommendation was a hamr scope as it's priced lower than the acog and by far
The elcan.
Eotech with magnifier is out of the option.
So any of you fine gentlemen have advice? Customer service and warranty would be good options.
For now leaving out "scopes" as they seem to be mil/Moa adjustable and variable power (unless someone knows something I don't in the realm)
