Recommendations: Drag Bag / Soft Rifle Case

Looking for a good soft case or drag bag to put my PRS rifle in. I don’t always need to use a full size pelican case.

Rifle has a 27” barrel so I need a 52” case.

What are y’all using? I have been looking at the Tactical Operations bags.

I got a midway drag bag that I believe is 56”. It’s a double rifle case and has worked out very well soo far

TacOps or Eberlestock Drag bag...both are the gold standard. Look at each to see what configuration works best for you.

I have tac ops, eberlestock, and midway USA. The eberlestock is my favorite. Super quality built and really nice set of features like pouch design and back straps. Tac ops is very well built but much more basic and utilitarian in design. It comes with a compact fold away shooting mat too that I dont need and it just makes the bag bulkier and more awkward. The midway drag bag is not a bad choice if on a budget. A step below the other two but much less money involved.

I have a voodoo drag bag I bought ages ago that I still use. For what I need it's fine (to and from range/hunting), but I would like something with a bit better padding just for more peace of mind. The eberlestock bags and the Armageddon gear bags seem like the best choice for when I eventually upgrade. I've heard great things about SERT bags as well, but I don't think they make a 52" bag.

I recently got a Savior soft gun case. Pretty nice for the price.

I love my Tac ops, buddy has an Eberlestock that's great as well, both are a little pricey though. I agree with @Nik H to look at what configuration fits your setup best. For a more budget-friendly option hide members seem to recommend the Midway bag a quite a bit, however I have no experience with it.

I have had blackhawk drag bag years ago, a 5.11 double rifle bag (has held up surprisingly well), and now I recently got a TacOps bag from Mike. The Tac Ops bag is incredibly well built and has everything I need. Several very good options out there but if the Tac Ops meets your requirements, you wont be disappointed with it.
