There are many new reticles out there I wanted to ask the question before I finalized a decision.
I mill and I have a S&B PMII 3-12X50 mill, a MK6 1-6 TMR (my first non Mill dot), 10X42 Leupold Mill.
I am building a new bolt rifle in 308 with a 20" barrel and expect to engage upto 800 yards -- my eyes are not what they once were. The rifle will be dual purpose... primarily at the range but the occasional pig hunt is a must.
I am thinking variable power 3 or 4 to 16 or 18 by no more than 40 or 42... 44 is a stretch.
Reticles, I am considering options but bdc reticles past 400 yards... I am not closed. No spotter, I would like a reticle that has 18" dashes and 9" or 10" circles relative to distance for quick ranging. Otherwise, Mill or TMR, Mill or MOA... Any favorite reticles with good glass?
Thank you
