I have a wildcat that is based on the RUM case that I need to make a seating die for. I have some Redding and Forster competition dies that I'm not using that I could create sleeves for with my chamber reamer. Looking at the sleeves and the dimensions of the RUM case, it seems like the walls would get pretty thin.

For those that have a Redding competition seating die for a Remington Ultra Mag cartridge; what is the diameter of the sleeve? Is it the same diameter as the sleeves on 308 based cases? How far does it stick out the bottom of the die? Pics would be super helpful and appreciated. :)

Will the RUM sleeve fit in a seater that was originally for a 308 Win? I'm wondering if the sleeves for cases like RUM and WSM are larger in diameter...

Is the threaded body any longer on the Redding magnum seating die than on the 308 seating die?

It appears that the 308 Redding seating die won't work with my case and the long 180 hybrid bullets (at least not in my Co-Ax). It will seat the bullets, but will start pushing them into the neck before the case is being supported by the sleeve, which kind of defeats the purpose. The 303 British Forster seater die I have seems better suited to large magnum cases in the Co-Ax, but I guess that makes sense... Looks like the difference is in the way the two companies do their seating plugs.
