Rifle Scopes redfield.

Building a rig for hunting and was looking for opinion on redfield battlezone 3-9x42,any info would be much appreciate.

I think I would look to Vortex before buying a Redfield. The Diamondback series is pretty comparable in price and Vortex builds quality scopes backed by a great warranty. Save a bit more and step into their Viper line and you can't go wrong. That's my opinion on the price range you are looking at.

I was looking to spend around $500 for a nice hunting scope ill look i.to a viper thatnks for the help.

If you do not need illumination, the Viper HS is a great hunting scope. 24 moa one turn in 1/2 moa inc, zero stop. Great scope when you have to dial dope on the quick.

I changed all my hunting rifles from Leupold Vari XIII a few years ago to the Vortex Viper. They have made me very happy with the optical clarity, tracking, and overall quality in them. Highly recommend them.

For $500, do yourself a favor and look at the Zeiss Conquest line of scopes.

Well end up buying a zeiss conquest today, never had my hands on one i hope it works out.. thanks for the help and opinions guys
