Refinishing Manners T4A Elite stock

Would there be any issues if you sand a manners elite stock and just have it cleared so it's a glossy carbon fiber finish?

I'm only guessing but I doubt you will be able to remove all of the color. If you apply the paint to the inside of the mold then lay the cloth on top of it, some paint will be imbedded into the weave.

I think you might be right. I'm not sure how they apply the color if it's just on the surface or between layers
