I am currently working up a load for my .308 and was wondering if anyone had opinions about working up loads suppressed. Do you think it makes difference on impact consistancy or velocities? Thanks in advance for input.

Re: Reloading data and suppressors

There is a speed increase with my surppresser on, with my 308 there is no accuracy change, but on my 260 because I'm on the ragged edge the increase in speed causes groups to open up, YMMV.

Wow you waited 3 years to post, welcome to the Hide.

It does make a difference. A few weeks ago I was shooting some hotter loads in my 308 unsupressed. I added the suppressor and it was leaving ejector marks on the brass and I had a few primer blow out.
