Reloading for 30-30 win

Not to sound like an idiot, but I've never loaded for a lever gun before. My intention is to start loading for a 30-30win model 94 that I've had forever. I want to use the Hornady FTX 160gr bullets over leverevolution powder. I'm having some trouble finding load feedback from people. What works in your gun? Also with the tube mag I assume that you have to crimp the loaded rounds, can you neck size or is full length the only way to go? Any insight would help.
