I just received my Rock River Arms Elite Operator 2 and am getting ready to reload for it. My question is how far can I seat the bullet so that it is close to the lands yet still feed from the clip into the rifle? What overall bullet length should I do?

Thanks in advance!

Are you loading bullets with a chanlure(SP?) If so, I just go down till it is half above and half below the neck. If I load Varmint tips I just go until it fits in the mag and cycles then i go another 1/8 turn. Not very scientific, but it works and seems to be decently accurate.

Forget the lands, unless you want to single load. Run them a little shorter than what your mags will allow.

I am guessing an Elite Operator is a short barreled rifle? If so, it isn't a benchrest rifle any way.

I think you answered your own question. Magazine length.

Your rifle has a magazine, not a clip.
