Okay, I have done some reloading before because my grandfather was a gunsmith but i'm stationed in California and all the equipment is back in NY. I have been trying to put a list of components that I need to start reloading again because i've gotten really into shooting again lately. I'm just looking for verification on what I need to start reloading again. I'd really appreciate the help, thanks.

Leaving it generic since you have experience...keep asking if you need more input. If you dissect a single-stage kit like the Redding Big Boss Pro-Pak, it comes with:

    - Press
    - Powder scale
    - Trickler
    - Case lube kit
    - Chamfer/deburr tool
    - Funnel
    - Powder measure
    - Case trimmer

    You still need:
    - Priming tool -- unless your press has a built in priming tool like the Redding
    - Bullet puller
    - Case prep tools: primer pocket reamer (if mil brass), pocket uniformer, flash hole uniformer, etc
    - Shell holder
    - Vibratory cleaner (media & polish)
    - Powder mount arm (not mandatory but I can't live without)
    - Trimming board -- I mounted my trimmer on a nice $8 cutting board from Ross
    - Dies
    - Components -- brass, primers, powder

And then a nice sturdy work surface to mount it all on.

If you are going progressive, I highly recommend checking out Brian Enos' website: http://www.brianenos.com/pages/dillonfaqs.html#includefaq
